You can pay your bill online with a credit card. The hospital also accepts payments at our Patient Financial Service office by phone at 401-736-4296, by mail or in person. Cash, checks and all major credit cards are accepted. Mailing address:

How and where can I provide my insurance information?

You can call the Patient Financial Service Office at 401-736-4296 or mail your insurance information to the Patient Financial Services Office.

How do I obtain a price for a test or a procedure?

You can call our Patient Financial Service Office at 401-736-4296 and a financial counselor will assist you.

Do you offer discounts on patient bills?

Yes. We offer discounts to patients who are uninsured. A pre-payment discount of 20% is offered if payment is made prior to or at the time of service. If the 20% discount is not taken, then a 10% discount is available if the total bill is paid within 30 days of the date on the first bill.

What is an EOB?

EOB stands for an explanation of benefits. It is usually issued by insurance companies. It is not considered a bill. It explains your insurance coverage.

Could I receive more than one bill for my hospital visit?

Yes. Certain charges are not billed by the hospital and will not appear on your hospital bill. You may receive separate bills from the physicians or specialists who participated in your care while you were in the hospital.

Do you offer any kind of financial assistance?

Yes. We offer financial assistance to patients who meet specific income and asset guidelines. You can call Patient Financial Services at 401-736-4296 and a representative can assist you.

Why doesn't my insurance cover everything?

Not all insurance policies are the same. Your coverage depends on your particular insurance plan. Your plan could have co-payments or deductibles that are your responsibility. You should check with your insurance company to see what is covered and what is not covered.
